§ 1-9-182. Concealed weapons prohibited on county property; exception.

  • (a)

    It is unlawful to carry a concealed handgun for which a permit has been issued pursuant to G.S. 14-415.11 on or in any county owned or occupied property or building.

    (b)

    A conspicuous notice that the carrying of concealed handguns is prohibited shall be posted on all county owned or occupied property.

    (c)

    This section shall not apply to those persons exempted under G.S. 14-269(b).

    (d)

    A violation of this section shall constitute a violation of G.S. 14-269.
